Twists, turns, dips, high heals....heat...people sliding across the floor. Music vibrating loudly throughout and outside of the building. Akai's fingers slipped along the edge of a glass as his eyes took in the site of the people dancing. He smirked a bit at some of the women. He always had good taste in them, but he read them easily. Anyways, he was a busy man, being a manager for the Woman In Black and being the second for the Snakes. He propped his feet up on the table, leaning back. His fingers grasped the edge of the glass more as he took a gulp of his vodka.
Akai was known, but he was also well known for being hidden. He liked it that way, but occasionally people would find him in his dark corner, his eyes full with mirth as he watched the people dance. He wore designer jeans, sneakers, and a button up white shirt that was unbuttoned to show off his defined chest. That was another thing he was known for, being rich that is. Rich, famous, smart, clever, and most certainly powerful. He had people in every place, just in case some stupid thing would happen.

outfitHer eyes fell closed in an instant, leaning into the harsh, hard warmth, that came from his fingers rough and worked, tired fingers they stroked her face. Her shoulders relaxed for a moment, and a hard arm came around the small of her back and pulled her, pushed her into the his hard body. Leaning her hand deeper into his hand, she opened her eyes and looked at him, the room came together, they materalized, he was standing in front of his door saying goodbye, for now at least, they were both wearing clothes, and she couldn't help but smile a little bit more, it was a happy smile, like this had been just another visit, she masked the saddness in her eyes as she pulled away from him, placed her lips on the side of his face for a heartbeat and turned around walking out the door, carrying with her now the promise to deliver what he needed, because that was her job.
Everyday she did this, this seemingly simple act, this job that no one ever really thought to much about. Working as a ghost most of the time, preparing and getting supplies, such as smokes, drugs, a partner for the night, and delivering sometimes before they even realized that they wanted them. Some thought that Kailey shouldn't have been doing such a job, espically those who knew her, knew she was easily talked into situations she shouldn't be in, but she liked her job, they wanted her higher, but she was just glad to be a ghost for the most part. A slate for someone to mold her into what she needed to be, she'd do anything for an ounce of love. So she left the apartment, thinking the same thought she did everyday, this would buy a little bit more of his love. Someone would look at her and find her heart, she didn't ever give up. Walking down the streets, trading gathering, taking care of those who without her would have no one, she did her job, and she did it well.
Pressing down on the metalic wheel that whined, as the sparks came showering down with the flame that came up. Kailey lit her cigarette, and swallowed a drag when her phone buzzed. Lady Black tonight, she dressed, her fingers were fast, her smile was a million dollars, and her lips never stopped as she walked down the street like a ghost everyone could see. The club was nice tonight, not to filled, she found a dark corner to sit and wait for whoever needed her for the night.

Akai watched the people slowly poor in as the night grew later and he didn’t really see anyone of importance. Hi he heard a voice say and looked to his right to a girl about his age and smiled. “Hey, a little hot?” He smirked charmingly, his hair flicking to the side. The girl laughed and then blushed as she asked, Dance with me? “Of course, darling.” He whispered huskily as he guided her out into the middle of the dance floor, his hand on the small of her back. The music slid through him from head to toe, the beat invigorating as he closed his eyes for a moment. He loved to dance and he loved being asked to dance, but he knew what kind of girl she was, she was a complete slut. All over other guys, but he didn’t really care, he just kind of got sick of them from time to time. They were stupid and replaceable and he didn’t have room for that in his life. But he indeed was a gentleman, in a sense.
He turned on his feet and started dancing, his body moving to the music as though they were both one person, one thing, one melody. A smile softly on his lips only widening as the woman turned herself around and he pulled her close dancing with her back to his chest. He wondered if she knew who he was or dared to know. If she knew how much he could do for her or even could ruin her life. His fingers slipped over her bare midriff as he felt the soft skin beneath his fingers. But things went quickly, the dance was coming to an end and he just didn’t feel like being that type of guy tonight. He slipped away, not even muttering a goodbye to the stranger. He sighed and went to the bar in the middle of the room, leaning against it.
That rough, eh? Michael asked him, the bartender that is. “As always.” He muttered and took the drink that was automatically given to him. He looked around and noticing something odd. A woman..sitting by herself in the dark. He finished his drink before making his way over to her and looking up and down her. “Hey there.” He said with a charming smile wondering what a girl would be doing alone in one of the dark areas of the club. “Thought you’d like some company since you’re here by yourself and I’m usually the only one sitting in the dark. Akai Trevino.” He offered her his hand, smiling, knowing that if he knew her, it wouldn’t be a big surprise, but there were two things people knew him as. A gang member and a rich manager. No one spoke of him badly though, otherwise they were shut up pretty fast.

They were just strangers on the street as far as anyone knew. Two random people with no lives, that meant nothing to most everyone else on the street they were a random pair, a pair or bodies, eyes, lips, that for a single moment smiled at the same time. Passed each other without a second thought on the street, as their hands hovered over each others pockets, tucking in and taking out in a fraction of a second, they were trading secrets without using their lips, theives in the mid day sun, as they went on with there lives, and Kailey left him standing in the dark, crystal in her pocket, on her way to deliever her newest dealing. She worked in secrets, in shadows that didn't need the night to hide and conceal their insides.
Still being a ghost, a shadow, known all in one. She was invisible to those except who she wanted to be seen by, it was hard work. By the time she ended up on her couch, her shoulders were already dropping and so were her eye lids, she felt like yawning inside, but her outside was so jittery. She was always like this, a mixture of hot and cold, secrets and open books, she was that mystery girl, that sat in the corner looking so exposed, but the closer you came the more you could see the webs tied around her, that held her together, and kept her secrets inside of her. She wasn't only a Sharpe she was a generation of Snake, her father and Mother had run this gang, before the man Ivy took it from had. She knew everyone in this club tonight, even with the lights flashing.
Still she waited to be called on by someone, not openly seeking anymore. Her eyes watched the crowd, finding his body, but ignoring him, he'd come to her before she'd cve and go to him. A distraction was at hand when another male approached her, she smirked when she saw his face, and rolled her eyes, "I know who you are Akai," she said his name and looked him in the eyes, she didn't reach for his hands. It was her job to know him, to know everyone, and their needs. She'd never had the chance to talk with this second before, but she couldn't help but take the chance. He was so unlike the other Snakes who were typically reserved. "Kailey Jones," she said, slipping her hand into his. "Not often I get to talk to Ivy's second"

“Everyone knows who I am. Just depends on how.” He commented towards her and laughed softly and realized then how cocky that was. “Sorry, not what I meant. Just more like people talk a lot.” He grasped her hand and shook gently, giving her another smile. “Kailey….hmm you are a Sharpe. That’s right. Yeah, I’m usually very busy, but it’s sad we haven’t met. Being second isn’t as easy as I’d like it to be sometime, especially right now.” He said his smile fading a bit as he thought about all the problems that were going on with Tigers and he just finally looked distant from her. “So what are you here for? Do you mind if I take this seat?” He asked pointing to the seat next to her.
He wondered what type of woman she was, obviously not like all the girls in this club, well from what he could tell. He wondered why he hadn’t met her, but he’d helped train several of the members for the Snakes. Just must of missed her. He had to admit, he had been so busy with work right now that it was difficult for him to make back to the group, but it had just been about a week and a half since his last time there. He brushes his fingers through his hair, wondering how he would continue balancing everything.
His eyes slowly focused on her again, realizing he had been staring at her the whole time, really kind of being spaced out. “Mmm…sorry, got lost in your eyes.” He muttered, flirting and joking at the same time. He did that a lot, especially to brush off any awkward or embarrassing moments. Akai was pretty easy going, but if something really pissed him off, let’s say you better run.

She smirked, her eyebrows going up at his words, he was pretty confident in himself it would seem. She thought about bringing him down a notch, but that would only upset him or something, so she decided to play along, while he danced with Diana. She nodded to the red head when she looked over at her, she'd set those two up for the night, she was just here incase something was required, incase something went down, she needed to know. Kailey kept her lips shut as he took the seat next to her, he'd have taken it with or without her acceptance, so she said yes and let it be.
"I'm here because someone asked me to be," her eyes found him again, and then went back to Akai, "I believe I can spare a moment for you," she tried to smile, but her lips were tight, and pulled they didn't want to really smile, she watched the floor but she could feel his eyes on her, looking back at him, only a second before he snapped out of his daze, she rolled her eyes. "Wow I didn't know guys still used those lines," she said shrugging her shoulders, rolling them, and rolling the stress off of them, she was relaxed and calm in the club setting.
Standing up, she looked at him, "Come on, I didn't come too the club to sit around all night," she winked at him, she tugged on his hand lightly, not showing any of the strength in her arms, she was like a weak little girl, she'd seen something in a window she wanted, just wondering how much work it'd take to get Akai.

He laughed as she stood up and asked for a dance and he stood up, his hand grasping hers gently as he moved forward toward the dance floor. He turned began dancing to the music again his body seeming to just glide with it. His movements were like fluid, yet they had a beat to them. He looked at her wondering if she really liked to dance or if she just was testing him. He kind of wanted to get close to her, to talk with her while they danced. But he didn’t want her to think he was trying to feel her up or anything. He wasn’t really sure why he was thinking like this, but she just didn’t seem the type of girl that usually hunted him down for a dance.
He continued dancing with her as he ignored his thoughts, but pulled her close and whispered, “So do you like to dance? And am I going to interrupt your date?” He whispered huskily as his lips were pressed to her ear, hands on her hips as he still danced, not stopping, very close to her at the same time. There was something about being able to dance in sync with something that he loved, that turned him on. Women liked to dance and he danced with many of them, although each were different, none of them he had found matched him, was the dance that was irreplaceable.

Stepping onto the floor felt like breathing, natural and calm. She didn't feel over whelmed by the throb of the music, or the pounding aggression from some of the bodys out there. Her hips moved of their own free will and agenda, twisting and turning to the music, her body moved freely across the floor, she staid close to Akai, but didn't stay close enough that it seemed she was claimed by him until they were together, and she was smirking. She smirked at his comment, "It's not so much a date," he didn't need to know it was a drop off, so she cut that part off.
Looking back at him, "Dancing is always a good time," she replied, she did like to dance, she loved the feeling of the floor, being around the people, getting hot, enjoying herself just feeling the bass thump threw the speakers and letting it roll over her body. She danced in his arms, pressing into him long enough to say she was there before backing off, smirking, "What about you, no special girl?" she asked, judging by the looks she was getting he was somewhat of a catch she could tell, she didn't say that didn't need to grow his ego, but she couldn't help but smile her own half smile grin that was just wickedness on her lips waiting to happen.

His eyes watched her body move as the corner’s of his lips turned up in a grin. She could dance well, the beat taking her over like it did him and suddenly he felt like they fit. And it only got better that they were both single, even though they both obviously were attractive and could have people wrapped around their fingers, they were both single. Akai had been there where he got so love drunk it messed with him, so he decided to grow up a bit and take things a bit slower. Yet he didn’t mind good sex from time to time.
When she backed off, he suddenly felt an urge to just grab her right back. He grabbed her arm so she spinned around so her back was pinned to him and whispered, “No, haven’t found the one yet.” He said, holding onto her for a second as they danced, his breath tickling her skin as he had the temptation to kiss her like this. He released her, spinning her around slowly. He liked her and it made his stomach tighten with this uneasiness. He wanted to grasp it right now or just run from it because he was afraid he’d get hurt with any other way.
He danced as his eyes grew distant and for the first time in a long time, the music didn’t get through to him, but yet his body just seemed to move with it. He wanted to ask her, but it was so soon. The music came to a slow and he just stopped looking at her with a gentle smile. “Want to take a walk with me? Or do you want a drink?” He asked smiling more as he hoped she wouldn’t back down, but he hoped this would be a prediction to if she would say yes to a date. “Or uhh…” He rubbed the back of his head, and laughed a bit. “Would you have dinner with me sometime?” He asked her wondering if the quickness would be too much for her, but he didn’t know if she was like that yet.

Only idiots thought dancing was mindless, that it was just a series of movement. Kailey frowned as she noticed all the girls clearly lost at the game of dancing who clearly didn't know how to do it right, or who danced like a slut just because they couldn't get a man with class. She smiled as she spun, and was came back to Akai, dancing with class was just more fun, it moved with her better then trying to be a slut, though she could play either part if it was required. She smirked at his replied, "That's good. I don't dance with married men," she didn't do anything with men who were taken, in any sort of situation, she thought it was wrong on to many levels.
Her heart started to pound when he asked her for a walk, or a drink, her eyes scanned the floor for him, did he get what he needed? She wanted to know, but looking back at Akia, she couldn't help but want to forget all about him, and to dance with this man, she felt like she could find some sort of peace, moving with his body, both of them just dancing to the rythem. She laughed a little bit, and nodded her head, smirking, "You move quickly don't you," she said, looking at him, she nodded her head again, "I don't think dinner would be a problem," she agreed to the date with him. She could cut back with him, and not think about work, or maybe she could make him part of work? She thought teasing herself, it would be fun to have him in her work day, though she didn't know how that would work out, he didn't seem like something she could just scheduale.

He laughed at her comment and just kept dancing. “Well, at least that’s a relief.” He said with a smirk as he watched her continue to dance, wondering what it would be like to get even closer to her. And he then wanted to slash himself in the throat because he didn’t want to be that type of guy. He was surprised by her accepting of his offer as he tried to hide his surprise, but just smiled now. “Er… I suppose I did, didn’t I?” He laughed and watched her, wondering what she would be like again and almost facepalmed in front of her, but stopped himself before he could even move his arm. “Besides, faster tends to be more interesting, but don’t be afraid to slow me down. I’ll listen.” He laughed and as soon as another song picked up, he took her hand, spinning her once more very close, as she came to face him, a pause in his movement as he just got kind of caught up in the moment.
The music wasn’t exactly the normal hip hop or rap, it was more jazzy than normal, but not quite like the old type of music they had back in the 20’s. Although, he could picture himself in that time period. He now unwraveled her before bringing her back to grab her hands and lead her across the floor with laughter. He hoped she was having as good of a time he was and as the song came to an end, it gave the perfect queue. He brought her close with one quick movement and leaned her over. As though it would be time for a kiss and he just gazed down at her for a second with a grin before leaning her back up slowly.

Someone was working magic tonight, and they'd implanted butterflies inside of Kailey's stomach as there grand finale. She tried to keep them off her face but she knew she was smiling and blushing as it was. She touched the back of her head and brought her hand down threw her hair, playing with strands of it as he spoke, she smirked at his words laughing for a second, before coming closer to him, "I'd be careful of those words," she warned, "They could be brought into the wrong sort of context," she winked at him. She thought about walking away now, of walking away while she was still winning this battle with her head, but he spun her to him, and she couldn't help it. Her heart started to thud inside of her chest, as she was closer to him then she'd ever been before. They needed to be careful, before she fell in love with him.
The music alone was enough to make her smile, but she had a great dance partner, the type she didn't mind spending the night on her feet with. They danced until the song was done and when it was done she wasn't ready for it to be over, or for him to dip her. She looked at him with large wide eyes, shocked and blushing as he looked at her, was she supposed to kiss him? She didn't know, but she felt like every eye in the joint was on them, she leaned in and kissed his cheek. "You sure know how to move," she smiled at him, they didn't move, she liked being this close to him. She spoke again, "I'd better watch this heart of mine, you just might steal it," it was pounding so loud, she couldn't believe he didn't hear it, or at least feel it.

There was a passion about how Akai danced, that was so intense that no one could rip it into pieces, not even the lovely lady in his arms. When she had come in close to him, tight to his front side, he felt all wrapped up in her and it worried him that they would get too close too fast, but at the same time, it put him at the edge, gave him a sort of excitement that he failed to ever come across before. He laughed at her words, "Maybe that's how it's supposed to be taken though." He whispered into her ear in a deep tone. Then when they had ended and he got a kiss on the cheek, he felt his cheeks grow hot as he looked down at her. He felt like a young kid in a sense, but then her next words made him smile. “Thank you.” He said at her complement and what caught him off guard is what she said, but it wasn’t a bad thing, but he just smiled softly. “Maybe you ought to let it my dear.” He whispered and smiled as he stood up and grabbed her hand gently and then noticed that a bunch of eyes were on them and the floor seemed to have move to a circle around their dance path and he laughed. A series of claps came following their finish and he just bowed before moving along with her.
“Come on. I need some fresh air.” He spoke softly before walking towards the exit, still holding her hand just so that she doesn’t get lost. He couldn’t help but like this, holding her hand. He knew it sounded stupid, but he did not want to let go of her. He had fallen for her right then he noticed and almost sighed but stopped himself. That was a lot quicker than anyone else, but it’s not that he loved her, it’s that he wanted to be able to love her eventually. He slipped outside finally, the air slightly cool, but he pulled out cigarettes out of his pocket and grabbed his lighter. “Want one?” He offered her looking over at her with a smile, wondering if she smoked. It was really a killer of an addiction, at least for him it was.

Kailey had been fine, living in the moment, hiding inside the movement of the dance. Letting her body move in the ways she knew it could, and some she hadn't know about. She was free when she dance, not tied down, floating somewhere lost until they stopped and she was staring in his eyes. She smirked and smiled, laughed, until the clapping came and her heart caught up with her, going a thousand miles an hour, she followed him, ducking her head, willing to rush past him, but holding his hand steady. They swam threw the crowd until the doors showed up, and it felt like an ice bath, gasping for a second, before her skin adjusted.
She stood there for a second, her back to him, and took her hand from his, bringing her hair up she tied it back into a messy pony tail that still trailed down her back with her white blond mane. It felt better to have it off her skin, to have her skin exposed to the cold air thanks to her backless top, she nodded and took one from in, and put it to her lips. "Light me?" she asked him turning back around, she was close in front of him again, her eyes wide as she looked at his face now in better light on the street. She couldn't help but smile, he was really good looking and a killer dancer, she didn't care about the package, that she'd been here to work, work and plesure she could make it work. She shivered after a second, "Feels good out here," she said with a smile, just trying to help him not notice the blush all over her cheeks.

Akai looked at her back as she lifted up her hair, wanting to trace the lines of her back. He grinned as he noticed her long hair now too. He looked away realizing how beautiful she was right then and there, not that it should matter to him, but she seemed nice enough, so it was more like a bonus. He was just curious if she thought the same of him. He knew he had it good and it looked like there was nothing wrong, but sometimes he wondered why he was a certain way. No one knew that he murdered someone, much less that he would ever even hurt someone like that. He beat people up, sure, but never killed them. He just stood there for a moment, spacing on that thought, the feelings of it numb inside now. Then when she said light me he smiled all over again and did so.
“Indeed it does.” He said responding to her and stretched a bit before flicking out a cigarette and lighting it. “Mmm…” He took a long drag of it before breathing out a puff of smoke into the night. “So what’s your story?” He gave a grin at the fact he was kind of vague. But then he would follow it up now as he looked at her, a look in his eyes. “What’s the story of a beautiful, sweet, and talented woman?” He flirted with her as he gave her a charming story, liking this quite a bit. He liked not having to feel like he had to sleep with a woman to feel anything because she was entirely different now.
