The water hit the top of her head wetting her hair and it poured down her body. She just closed her eyes and gritted her teeth. The water was hot enough to boil something, but she didn't move to turn down the heat. She would take all the heat, hoping it would boil off her flesh and make her clean. Even after the shower was done, steam hung around her like a robe, it chocked her with the hudmity, water collected on her skin, until she towled herself off. The steam hovered just above her skin like smoke, as if her body was expelling the smoke, she sighed as she dried her hair and got dressed.
Dressing quickly, she was going to be running late if she hovered aroundh her house any longer. Kaz didn't enjoy being late, but as she passed her kitchen, bottle on the counter, she debated a quick shot before she set off to see the boys. In the end she realized not on an empty stomach, something she didn't have time to remedy. Kaz had learned before now what would happen if she left her seconds alone for too long together they'd love to turn it into a blood bath. The fact that she'd kissed both within the past week in public, so she was sure each had heard about the other would only add fuel to the fire. As she stepped out her front door she shut down her emotions, she wasn't going to deal with her emotional attachment to both of them until after work was over. Between Kai and herself both taking a week off thanks to each other things were about to get messy and she didn't want Ivy getting the upper hand in this town, not now not because she was distracted.

Since the meeting at the club with Kaz, Kai had participated in a fuck load of fights, sold a fuck load of drugs and even taken a few. His face was all kinds of fucked up at the moment. He had a split lip a large cut under his left eye and bruises on his throat from where the last guy he fought he tried to strangle him. Pussy. His knuckles were all cut up and Kai was sick of wearing bandages so he just let them bleed most of the time. He had received word earlier that day from the runner that Kaz wanted to meet with him tonight. It had been the first time since the night at the club that he had heard from her or even seen her. She didn’t know how much he had been fighting. He didn’t really care either. He was her second and only her second, what did it matter to her if he got the hell beating out of him. Over the last few days Kai has grown cold and sour, he had lost all self respect and the respect of others was minimal.
Kai had gotten dressed in some clean clothes and picked up his phone and called Chuck. He asked him if he could come around and pick him up and drop him off that the spot were Kaz had asked him to meet her. That was another thing as well, he had gotten lazy before he used to walk everywhere, go for a jog in the mornings but not now, he got a ride pretty much everywhere and his morning job was now sitting on the couch watching cartoons and eat cereal. He waited out the front for chuck, he was getting over the chilly weather, he just wanted it to warm up again so he could walk around without a shirt on. After a few boring minutes chuck pulled up in his Stang and a smirk jumped across his face, he loved Chuck’s car and he was still trying to make Chuck let him drive it, so far no luck. He jumped into the passenger seat. “Hey man, Stang is looking sweet” he said and got comfy in the seat not like it was hard Kai could sleep in them.
Chuck thanked him and started rambling on about what he had just replaced and all the modifications he had made. It was interesting but Kai wasn’t really in the mood to get his whole life story. It was a relief when they pulled up at the place where he was supposed to be and he thanked Chuck for the lift and got out. He watched the Stang as it drove away and he almost cracked a fat. Shaking his head at himself he turned and walked into the Alley and waited at the usual spot for Kaz. He looked down at his watch, he was a little early. Pulling out a ciggie he lit it and inhaled the refreshing nicotine, he had smoked so much lately, there wasn’t really a time where you’d seen him with out a smoke in his hand. His knuckles were bleeding again but he didn’t care and the cut under his eye was throbbing. He wished the swelling would go away for he could see properly again.

She could smell it in the air, before she even got half way down the block. She could hear it ringing around her in all the metal around her, echos of what was to come. Something wonderful was coming her way, she could feel it down her body. Lately it wasn't something that ever left, lingering. It was tying it's self in knots around her ribs and locking itself there, staying there, so it could crawl around under the skin of her bag of bones body. Kaz didn't mind it tho, not at all not when she could feel it coming so close. It was all over her body, in the way her shoulders were stiff. The way she moved around on her feet, with converse, but on the tips, jumping around like a boxer about to jump into the fight. A fight, her mind thought, she'd been fighting nonstop of weeks it seemed. With herself at the gym with her people in the ring, with the Snakes that came to close to her streets. Everywhere for Kaz there was a fight, she didn't care anymore, about the wound under her left ribs where she'd been stabbed, about her never healing hands, the bruises on her legs from when she'd been pushed down stairs. She was a walking bag of battered bones but she wasn't backing down. Not when she could smell the Oblivion. Oblivion in a fight, was what she was thinking about when she showed up to the meeting. She noticed Kai, no Andrew yet so she'd wait for him. Her eyes went over Kai once more, looking at him, she sucked in a breath, there was still pain in her chest, longing. She didn't show it on her face as she walked over to him, "Nice battle scars" and slipped his cigarette out of his mouth and stuck it in hers. She wasn't carrying her pack, and this was as close as she got to a kiss anymore. She staid close around him, hovering near as she waited for Andrew to show up. Not thinking, her hand brushed over his as she inhaled smoke. She'd never say it, but she missed him, she missed him like someone would miss air, in a toxic sort of way that was killing her. She exhaled slowly threw her noise and looked at him with a smirk. "You need your eye checked out baby doll" baby doll she called everyone baby doll and the stress she was holding in her shoulders, show she didn't mean anything by it. The stress was going to make her throw up, so she moved next to him and leaned against the wall. Trying to control herself, and calm down, oblivion, oblivion, OBLIVION. Sounded better every second.

It wasn’t long after he had lit his smoke did he hear footsteps approaching, he looked up and seen Kaz coming. Usually he would have greeted her with a smile and it they were alone kiss on the lips and play slap on the backside, but this time he just looked away from her as she got closer and continued to drag on his smoke. He still loved Kaz and longed to be able to just take her in his arms and never let go of her but it was just easier for him this way, it was easier on his heart. There could be days were he couldn’t top thinking about Kaz and his heart would throb and ache. Lucky today wasn’t one of those days and he was able to stand there close to her with out feeling his heart was going to explode. He looked up at her as she commented on his wounds. He was proud of them, usually when he fought the other person didn’t even get a chance to get a hit in and fight would be over by him knocking the other out. But over the past week or so he had been letting the opponent get a few hits in making the fight last longer and have it be more satisfying. He also felt that the pain was what he deserved it made him feel better again.
“Hmmm” he said giving her a nod. He pulled out his cigarettes and sparked up another on as she had taken his from his lips. Really if she wanted one she could have just as for one. One the outside he was putting on the serious second in command face but on the inside he was crumbling he just wanted to hug her and kiss her all over but he couldn’t and the longing to do so was killing him. He watched her out the corner of his eye as she walked around to stand next to him. He glanced down at his watch again and it was right on the dot when they were suppose to meet. Typical Andrew being late like always, man that guy really gave him the shits sometimes. Always thinking he was king shit. Kai rolled his eyes to himself and dragged on his new smoke. “Yeah most likely” he said to her comment about his eye needing to be looked at. In the note that was sent out to him by Kaz said nothing of why they needed to meet. “So why are we here anyway?”

Andrew thought about the other night with Kaz and had to admit it had been rough and not quite the ideal situation he saw playing out in his head. He had admitted to Kaz that he took interest in her after all of these years being her second. Now he was going to meet up with her and Kai. He was not exactly pleased about being with her while Kai was there. He always felt like he was not the one to be by her side, to kind of be pushed away. He just felt like every time they were together, they would just punch him in all their actions, but he did not know how this meeting would blow over, he did not know how this would work out. But he knew he had to be civil as he could with Kai, especially now because he really wanted to beat the crap out of him for doing that.
He turned the corner, hands in his pockets as he looked at the two leaning against the brick wall. He still had sore feelings over a few things that happened at their last meeting, but he needed to forget about that. He was a few minutes late, not by much though. Andrew walked slowly up to them, "Hey Kaz and Kai." He spoke as he stood next to Kaz wondering what she had been planning this for. He just stood quietly, looking at Kai for a moment and wondered what happened to him. He looked away and just settled, pulling out a cigarette out of his package and lighting it. Taking it into his mouth and slowly breathing out a puff of air. He had gone through quite a few of these lately which was not really a surprise to him, he just had been super stressed lately.

Her face was blank except for the look of distast she always wore when going to do Tiger business. Her eyes watched as Kai lit the new cigarette her lips going to his lips, he'd messed up his lip again, just like the night when he'd come to her home after being attacked. Her shoulders were tense, Kai was slowing down, or going easy, he was allowing people to get shots in on him, which worried her, she stopped that train of thought as she heard someone else come. Lifting the cigarette to her lips, she took a swift drag, sucking down the toxicins she loved down to her toes, before exhaling as she saw it was Andrew, of course it was Andrew she smirked when she saw him. Andrew had always been good and loyal to her, she was glad to have him she thought, still her shoulders were tense right now as she realized how akward this situation was.
She flipped her hair and shifted around, ashed her cigarette to get the dead end off the tip before bringing it back to her lips. She could feel both of their eyes on them, closing her eyes and bowing her head for a moment, she couldn't deal with all of the high tension emotions going on here so she cut them off, and moved too the Kaz the leader dealing with her handy men. Opening her eyes, she opened her mouth, something flew out about Ivy, about her being the new head of the Snakes, Andrew didn't know the history so it wasn't like when she'd told Kai. She didn't make eye contact with Kai when talking about Ivy. Then she mentioned the new problem and the reason she'd called the meeting, besides so she could get used to this, and because she'd wanted to see them. "Someone's trafficing in the city." she said looking at them, "Crystal" her lips came together and her eyes glowed when she said Crystal. Commonly known as Meth, it was in her city, and she wanted it gone. "Find it, get it gone." she said, before dropping her cigarette. She turned towards the opening of the alley way and started to walk away from them both. "That's all her heart couldn't stand to be around them so much, she started to walk away.

Kai’s heart stopped and his breath caught in his throat, when she spoke about Crystal Meth being in the city. Since he had been spending a lot of time at the fights he had been hearing something’s about Meth being moved on Snake territory, if this was true then it was Ivy that was behind the small movement. It had to be true considering it had now leaked into tiger territory. He was sure that none of his gang was actually on meth and he knew that none of then would sell it without the Kaz’s okay. So it must be the blasted neutrals that were buying the meth and selling it for the snakes. How dare they sell on tiger territory, they were fucking game. He lifted his head to look at Kaz, but all he could see that the back of her walking away, walking away from him again and his heart ached. He wanted to be close to her but he knew that it would just be too painful for him. She stopped then and said that was all. “Um, Kaz do we have to do this together, or can we go our separate ways?” he said flicking his own smoke and taking a few steps forward. He would really hate if he had to team up with Andrew, he was already in a foul mood this would just push him over the edge. “We might be able to cover more ground and interrogate more people if we went separately ?” he finished.

Andrew blinked as she suddenly just left and then he was just left with Kai and wondered what she was thinking or what was going on with her. But then Kai's question did catch his attention but really did not surprise him. So he just turned around leaving Kai there. "Kaz! wait up..." He jogged to catch up with her. "What's wrong hun?" He asked wondering if she was okay even though it was quite obvious she really was not. He worried about her and well if it was bothering her, to help her, even if it was just to get her mind off of things for a while.
He was worried about the dilemma that just passed them, but he would tackle it as best he could. He knew Kai and him both would do a good job of getting things done. They both were very dedicated and very hard working. The one thing that came between them was Kaz, it was the one reason they hated each other. Even if Kai didn't know about Andrew and Kaz, there was still tension.
